I woke up with a start. All these dreams of beautiful vampric power were too much to take. I ran to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face. I was feeling a little drained, but nothing I couldn't shake off.
As I went back to my room and looked at the clock, I realized I was late for work. I didn't mind. Having a day job as a money maker was more of a sideline for me. It wasn't where my true passion lay.
I jumped out of bed and quickly put on my favorite outfit - a billowing black dress, its skirt ceaselessly swishing round me. I added a cape, and a shimmering silver cross all the better to ward off any evil eyes. Then I pushed my monstrously tall vampire heels onto my feet and get ready to go out.
I flew up to the rooftops, enjoying the midnight air, fresh and filled with secrets. The stars twinkled above me, and I knew I was ready to take on anything.
As I zipped around town I made sure to pass by my favorite hang-outs. One of the clubs was having a rave, so I decided to join in briefly and show off some of my vampiric moves. A strip of night-mares were djing so I knew I just had to have a spin on the dance floor.
Energy bubbled around me. After a few hours of letting myself go, I remembered I had to work the next day. I said my goodbyes to the other vampires and flew away.
As I got back to my apartment I felt relieved that I didn't burst into flames like I know some people can when exposed to sunlight. I made sure to grab a glass of O-positive on my way up and open the window, ready to bask in the moonlight and let it soothe me. I needed a good nights rest, for tomorrow I had to make cash and gossip with my girlfriends.
The night passed quickly, and I soon found myself energized and ready for a new day. I pulled my thoughts together and already felt the edgy energy of the night fill up my veins. I felt like an ancient warrior, ready to take on the world.
It was time to go and make money honey.
Vampires aren't bad, they're just misunderstood.
