Today was a good day. I woke up feeling like an ancient princess warrior. I quickly got dressed and set off for the mall. I love shopping for the latest fashion, and today was no exception.
I went window shopping and tried on a dozen or so outfits before I settled on a new dress. I was in the fitting room when I blocked out the world around me and heard in my head the sound of Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. This sparked an urge in me to go do just that.
I quickly paid for the dress and left the mall. Upon arriving outside, I saw a storm clouds in the sky. It was the perfect opportunity for getting caught in the rain. I closed my eyes, spread my wings and took off flying in the night sky. I felt so free as the raindrops ran down my face and hair, and thankfully no one seems to notice.
After I felt sufficiently soaked, I flew back down to Earth. My night didn't end there though. I went over to my friend's place to pick a few of them for a night out. We planned to hit the clubs for some dancing and music. I was excited to see my friends and enjoy all the nightlife this city has to offer.
At the club, we made sure to dance as if no one was watching and laugh as loud as the music. The night continued on with laughter, jokes, and music until the early hours of the morning. It was an unforgettable night.
As our night came to a close I felt a little sad, wishing it could have gone on forever. At the same time, I was looking forward to the next day of adventure. I know this feeling will pass and that I will again enjoy the night life. But for now, I have to get some rest.
