Today was a good day. I started off by visiting with my favorite gals at the mall. We scoped out the latest clothes and drooled over the newest costliest items. We all laughed and enjoyed each other's company.
Next, I decided to go night flying along the lake. Being a vampire, I can see so much more at night and the stars just seem to call to me. I flew over the lake just for the pure joy of it. There's something calming and soothing about it that I can't explain.
Then, I went to my favorite little cafe and got myself a Pina Colada (of course!) and chatted with some of the locals. It was fun hearing about their latest exploits. I guess it's nice to know that the world is still going on out there even if I'm not part of it.
Finally, it was time to go home. I changed out of my flying gear and into my vampire costume and caught a taxi to the mansion. I entered the gates and was immediately surrounded by a crowd of my cat friends. I scooped them all up and reveled in their purrs before heading up to my room.
Once there, I put on some music and started drawing. I often draw abstractly as an exercise for finding more creative solutions at work. It's also a channel for all of my wild ideas and never-ending schemes.
Lastly, I spent some time talking to Dracula. I'm sure he's happy to receive the gossip of the outside world. He keeps up-to-date on all the goings-on through me and I can't help but feel special.
So, all in all, it was a good day today. I managed to take time out of my busy schedule to do some of the things that make me feel most alive and to even have a little fun in the process. I can feel the stress of the world lifting off my shoulders a bit, and I'm grateful for that. Here's hoping my next day is just as good!

She likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, but leads very serious battles. She has a knack for making money, therefore, your production of money will be increased. Her inspiration, Mary Read, was an English pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy.
