Today was a good day. I woke up feeling well rested and ready to tackle the world. I put on my favourite black dress and headed out into the sunlight. It was a beautiful, sunny day and I felt refreshed and energized.
I decided to spend the morning doing what I do best - making money. I made a few phone calls and, before I knew it, I had made a tidy sum. I was pleased with myself and happy to have some extra money in my pocket.
Next I headed off to the mall. I wanted to pick up a few new things and treat myself. I couldn't help but smile when I saw a sale sign and a huge discount. I happily wound my way around the store, picking up a few things here and there before eventually leaving with a few new additions to my wardrobe.
After that, I decided to take a break and have a cup of coffee. I found myself a nice cafe and sat down to enjoy a delicious cup of Pina Colada. As I enjoyed my coffee, I watched people hurrying by and smiled to myself. It felt as if I could see inside their minds; I could tell how stressed they all were. I could sense their anxieties, their insecurities, their worries. I couldn’t help but feeling drawn to them. Like a moth to a flame, I wanted to feed on their stress.
Eventually, I left the cafe and made my way back home. As I walked, I felt a gentle breeze on my face and I couldn’t help but feel relaxed and content. I was feeling like an ancient princess warrior. I was feeling invincible and powerful.
When I arrived home, I grabbed my favourite Dracula novel and headed out into the garden to enjoy some night flying. It was peaceful and tranquil and I felt serene and contented. I made a few circles in the skies, which only intensified the feeling of power and strength I was feeling.
When I eventually made my way back to my house, I noticed a few of my friends from school had also come over. We all lounged around in the living room, chatting and gossiping and generally having a good time. We all enjoyed a few jokes here and there and then, soon enough, it was midnight and time to leave.
As I said my goodbyes, I could feel the tension of the night breaking and I felt instantly energized. I made my way upstairs to bed and, before I knew it, I was fast asleep. Today was a very strange yet wonderful day. As always, I was thankful for the little moments that make life so worthwhile.
