Dear diary,
Today was quite the adventure for this vampirix! I started my day by waking up late and realizing I had slept through my alarm clock, again. Thank goodness for my supernatural powers, or I would have been late for my weekly girls' brunch at the Blood Bank Cafe.
I met up with my girlfriends, Bella the Banshee and Vicky the Vampire, and we sipped on our Pina Coladas while gossiping about the latest drama in the supernatural world. Apparently, Dracula was spotted shopping for a new cape at the mall, and we couldn't stop laughing at the thought of him trying on different styles in front of a mirror.
After brunch, I decided to do some shopping of my own. I couldn't resist buying a new pair of killer heels that would make even a werewolf howl in envy. As I was browsing through the store, I ran into my distant cousin, Dracula himself. We spent the rest of the afternoon joking and laughing as we tried on ridiculous outfits and snapped selfies together.
Feeling in a generous mood, I decided to surprise my girlfriends with some exotic food from my favorite vampire-friendly restaurant. We feasted on blood orange salad, ghost pepper wings, and mummy wrap sandwiches while sharing stories of our past travels to exotic countries. Vicky told us about the time she accidentally turned into a bat and flew into a temple in Egypt, causing quite the commotion.
As the night fell, I felt a sudden urge to go night flying. So, I grabbed my trusty cape and took to the skies, soaring through the clouds and feeling the wind in my hair. I must have flown for hours, not caring about the passing time or the worries of the world below.
When I finally landed back at home, I was greeted by a surprise party thrown by my girlfriends. They had filled the room with balloons, confetti, and presents galore. I couldn't stop laughing at their antics as we danced to our favorite music and shared jokes late into the night.
As I lay in bed now, reminiscing about the absurdity of the day, I can't help but feel grateful for the weird and wonderful life I lead as Mary Read, the vampirix. I may be a distant cousin of Dracula and a stress-eating enchantress, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Until next time, diary.
Yours truly,
Mary Read
