Today was an absurdly strange day. It started normally enough. I woke up a few hours after sunset, got out of my coffin, went to the bathroom and brushed my fangs. Then I headed out for some breakfast. I was thinking of going to the nearby pub, as I usually do, but my friend Avril pointed out that it might be nice to try something different today.
So I followed her suggestion and flew off to the edge of town, where she said there was a small cafe run by humans. The cafe was quiet and the locals were obviously taken aback when they saw me, but they seemed friendly enough. So I ordered a steaming cup of coffee and some scones and settled down to enjoy my meal.
But then things took a turn for the weird. As I was finishing up, a team of scientists burst through the door. That would have been strange enough, but even stranger was that they were headed by none other than Professor Abraham Van Helsing himself!
It turned out that he was leading a research expedition to investigate some strange energy readings he had picked up in the hills of Transylvania, and he had stopped for a quick snack. After some polite introductions (I was careful not to let on that I was a vampire), Van Helsing asked me if I wanted to come along with his crew. He said that I might be able to help him figure out what was causing the energy readings, as my ancestral homeland was known for its supernatural activity.
As you can imagine, I was all for it! So I hopped aboard the professor's zeppelin and off we flew. We spent the rest of the day cruising around the countryside, checking out odd sightings and making scientific observations. Finally, just as the sun was setting, we ended up at a spot near a tall hill with an imposing castle at the top.
When Van Helsing spoke, his voice echoed in the stillness of the night: "This is where we'll make our final stand!"
Naturally, being the brave vampirix that I am, I didn't hesitate to join the professor and his crew in their mission. After an exciting night of exploration and research - not to mention a few close calls with dangerous creatures - we made it back to safety with no one having a single drop of blood spilled (except for the stress I ate).
It was without doubt one of the most exciting days of my life, and I'm now more determined than ever to reach my dream of one day visiting the Red Planet. Who knows, maybe I'll even bring Professor Van Helsing with me!
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
