My day started with a visit from a group of scientists. They were all rather excited about the project they were trying to complete. They were hoping that I, as one of the few vampirix living in Transylvania, could help them with their project.
When I asked what it was, they launched into a long and complex explanation about a 'thermal of the moon portal', which essentially was an interdimensional portal that could bring light and heat to a place in the dark. I chuckled and said, "You scientists are all so wild and crazy, you know that?"
They gave me unsolicited advice about how I should pursue the sciences instead of being a vampire, which I found rather amusing. I thanked them for their suggestions, but then went on to explain that what I do is actually quite complex and that it's simply not possible to explain it all in one conversation.
While they were still here, I couldn't help but prank them. I told them that the only way to fly in the dark was to make a stealthy bat airplane! They were horrified at the thought and tried to talk me out of it. I could tell they were eager to leave, so I said they could take me up on my suggestion at their own risk.
They took off and I went about my day. I went to the local store and bought a set of rocks so I could practice sculpting. Then I went to the garden and planted a few plants. As night came around, I went for a night flight. I love night flying! I flew high, feeling like I was heading for the stars.
Before I knew it, the sun was setting and I decided to make one last stop before heading home. I drove to the local astronomy center and studied the stars. As I stared deep into the night sky, I thought about the possibilities of what could be out there.
As I said goodbye to the astronomers and drove home, I thought to myself, 'Well today was an interesting day - I made a new set of scientist friends, played a prank, and even learned a bit about astronomy.'
It's days like these that make me feel alive and make me appreciate the world around me. I can't wait for the next adventure!
