I woke up this morning feeling a bit drained after such a long night. As the sun slowly crept up over the horizon, I stretched and headed out into the garden. It was still dark out - the perfect time for me to start my day.
I couldn't help but smile as I watched the trees sway in the light breeze. I took a deep breath, the smell of pine and petrichor filling me with energy. I grabbed my gardening tools and dove right into the dirt.
My garden was like no other. I grew a variety of plants that were unheard of, including a small strawberry bush with precious red berries that I could eat throughout the summer.
After a few hours of digging, planting and watering my garden, I stepped back and admired my work. I licked my lips in anticipation of the delicious fruit I would enjoy soon.
I had just a few more tasks to complete before nightfall. For instance, I had to fly high in the sky to find a place to rest (because sleeping in the sun was out of the question). Once in the stratosphere, I had to make sure my computer was up-to-date and running properly, since I use it to keep track of all my scientist friends and potential business partners.
I also had to make sure I was up on my rock music. As an avid fan of the genre, I needed to brush up on my skills by playing some new tunes on my guitar.
When nightfall finally arrived, I could finally relax. I grabbed my book and started reading some of the latest political news of the day. I had a few friends over for some theological discussions, drinks, and some classic puns.
By the time midnight arrived, I had worked up an appetite. It was time for some post-dinner stress eating: my favorite activity of the night. I flew around the city like a ghost, searching for the perfect stressee to feed on. I circled around an unsuspecting pedestrian and swooped in for the kill. I happily gorged myself on his delicious stress and thanked him for the meal before flying off into the night.
Ah, what a pleasant night! This is why I was born to be a vampire: I just love feasting on stress and exploring the dark world around me. It's so much fun! As I returned to my home in the hills of Transylvania, I couldn't help but think about the new adventures that would await me tomorrow. Until then, I promised myself a good night's rest and a sweet dreams.
