As of lately, all the hustle and bustle of Transylvania has been too much for me. A vampirix's diet consists only of stress, and I sure have my fill of it here.
Today, however, I had a break in the monotony. I started the morning by visiting with some of my scientist friends, who were kind enough to entertain me with their theories and experiments. It's something I do all the time, and I really enjoy it.
Then, I decided to try something a little different. I got out my old guitar and started playing some riffs. It felt great to learn something new and just rock out. Afterward, I made some sculptures and gardens in the hills with rocks and dirt from around the area. I tried to create a shape-shifting garden of sorts, which turned out to be quite a feat.
But around sundown, I decided to go for an adventure in the skies. I took my favorite plane and went out night-flying. It's so peaceful up above the clouds, and I never get tired of it.
I could have stayed up in the sky forever, but once I came back down to Earth again, I realized how much I miss my old friends from the neighborhood. The cats, the puns, the experimentations and the computer games - there's just no substitute!
Finally, I returned home with my stomach full of new experiences, but my heart still hungers for more, and I dream of taking a journey to Mars one day. Until then, I'll just keep soaring through the night sky, learning as much as I can about the world around me.
