Today was an absolutely amazing day! I started off the morning by pranking my scientist friends and their reactions were hilarious! I met up with them at the local cafe for our weekly game of chemistry trivia. None of them expected the questions I had thrown at them, especially not the one about the chemical symbol for rubidium! I know they won't be expecting that one again...
After the cafe I met up with some of my vampire friends and went for a night flight around the hills of Transylvania. We flew our wings so close to the ground at times it felt like we were skimming the tips of the grass. The way the stars shone above us was mesmerising and I felt content and happy surrounded by good friends in the serenity of the night sky.
We decided to have a picnic of stress (it's what we vampires like to snack on) and we ended up swapping jokes and stories while sharing in some much needed laughter. I told everyone the one about the vampire who flew to Mars and it was top notch! I can't wait until the day that I'm actually able to do that sort of thing.
After the picnic, I flew to a nearby mountain top where I had the most incredible view of the city below. I love to just sit and reflect while admiring the beauty of the world around me. I tuned in to some classic rock while admiring the various sculptures I had made and placed around the grounds. I really enjoy the process of sculpting and watching the pieces take shape over time, it's a very satisfying experience.
After my time on the mountain, I returned home, exhausted, but feeling fulfilled. I spent my evening playing my favourite video game and fooling around on the computer, and even managed to type up the idea for my new experiment! I have an inquisitive mind so I like to challenge myself with new puzzles, both mentally and physically.
All in all, today was a successful and entertaining day. I thought, laughed, experimented, and flew. What more could I ask for? As I drift off to sleep with my cats curled up around me, I can't help but wonder what my next day as a vampire will have in store for me.
