Today I was in a bizarrely funny mood. I woke up early in the morning and decided to go for a night flight in my giant bat wings. As I soared around in the night air, I looked down and saw all the other creatures sleeping. I thought it was so funny and I couldn't help but laugh out loud - who else would be flying around at night?
After my night flight I realized I was quite hungry, so I decided to do some experiments in my lab. I had some complicated chemistry equations to solve and thought it would be a great way to start off the day.
I had just finished up my experiments and sat down to make some music when I heard someone try to open the door to my lab. My heart pumped in excitement because I knew my friend the mad scientist must have come to visit! I pulled open the door and there he stood with a surprise - a bag full of rocks from Mars!
I was immediately ecstatic. After years of dedication to my scientific passions, I finally had a chance to study rocks from Mars. How was this even possible, I thought. My friend was never one for sharing, so I knew he must have had a great story to tell.
He handed me the rock with a deep, mysterious look. He said, “This rock is so special that it contains energy from another galaxy. This energy is so powerful it will make you fly and never get tired. So, if you want you can fly to Mars one day in your own mind and explore whatever mysteries it holds.”
My blood ran cold with excitement. To explore Mars - a dream I had held onto for so long, and now I had the power to do it. Later that day, I sat in my laboratory, taunting myself with jokes about myself and physics, while I carefully tried to understand the secret of the rock. I felt like I had discovered a new form of energy, something that no one else had thought of.
As the night faded and morning arrived, I felt my tiredness melt away. I knew that this rock had so much more potential - it could be used to solve so many complicated scientific problems and puzzles. I just needed some more time to work on it.
Somewhere, in the hills of Transylvania, I am sure that this rock will take me to a whole new dimension, the dimension of Mars.
