It had been a long day today. After sleeping in until noon I had to go spend time with my horde of girlfriends in the city. We ran around, had lunch and danced in the nightclub. I even got to spin a few tunes at the decks while they cheered me on. As usual, the whole episode ended with a fantastic group hug, which is pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world.
When I returned home, I took a long bath and dressed up in my traditional black and red vampire attire. It's always been how I feel most myself. I made myself a cup of tea and devoted the rest of the night to my main activity - drawing on the walls of my flat with a green marker.
Tonight I let my mind wander and painted a surrealistic landscape with trees and mountains, a giant castle, lightning bolts and a ghostly looking woman in the sky. It was eerie yet beautiful and I felt proud of my work.
It was nearly dawn when I was finished, so I decided to take a midnight flight around the neighborhood. Flying is such an exhilarating experience - I love the feeling of the wind on my face, of the darkness around me and of the stars above me.
I flew for a while, until I found myself in the park in front of the mall. There I spotted some weird looking cats which were staring at me intently. It made me chuckle - I'm sure they were wondering what kind of magical creature I was.
I then proceeded to shop around the mall until closing time. Shopping has always been one of my favorite activities. I got a few pieces of clothing and mementos from my travels.
Once the mall closed, I bid the cats adieu and waved at the night watchman on my way home. I was exhausted after such a weird and wonderful day and I was looking forward to a good night's rest.
