I woke up in my castle today with a strange feeling of excitement and anticipation. I looked out my window, and was surprised to see a bright pink, glittery vampire flying through the night sky. I smiled, feeling so alive in that moment. I knew that this could only mean one thing: it was time for a little shopping spree.
But first, I needed to prepare myself for the night. I opened my closet and put on my favourite black cloak. I looked in my dresser drawers and chose a few pieces of jewellery. Then, I grabbed my purse and put in a few coins, just in case I find anything I really want.
I ascended the staircase to the window, opened it, and jumped into the night sky. I was a vision in a black cloak, surrounded by the stars and seeing the world below me. I flew for hours, feeling the wind in my hair, searching for places to go and experiences worth having.
When I finally reached the bustling city street, I immediately knew which store I was looking for. I stopped at the door of the shop, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.
The shop was filled with strange and wonderful decorations. I spent my coins on the most beautiful and odd things I could find. I got a large wood carving of a dragon and some glittery vampire teeth. I also found a pair of golden earrings and a necklace with a single bloody gem.
When I finally left the store, I felt like a new Mary Read. My shopping spree had given me the confidence to go out and do whatever I wanted to do. Feeling invigorated, I started my next adventure – a search for the ultimate midnight snack.
I stopped at an exotic restaurant and ordered an array of dishes – from lobster to chocolate-covered ants. I laughed at the sight of the waiter carrying a plate of tiny bugs, but I was delighted when I tried them.
The night seemed to last forever, and I had my fill of experiences. I flew back home to my castle in the sky, feeling accomplished and content. I crept into bed, grateful for the day and already looking forward to new adventures.
Tonight was a night well spent.
