Today was a great day. I woke up early this morning and asked my girlfriends if they wanted to go to the mall. We grabbed our purses and hopped on a night flight to the city.
When we arrived at the mall, we took a stroll and admired the newest fashions. I couldn't help but stop to admire a beautiful black blouse that would look remarkable on me. I felt my purse getting bigger with every item I chose. I could feel the stress of those around me lifting.
After a few hours of window shopping, I met up with my girlfriends for dinner. We ate exotic food and I got to try out a new type of obscure Pina Colada. I was impressed. This drink was going to become my new favorite.
The drinks were so strong that once it was time to head home, I was feeling energized instead of tired. We decided to continue the night by going to a party. I was excited because I knew all my friends would be there.
At the party, we danced until sunrise. It was the best feeling in the world. I could feel the stress around me slowly slipping away. I felt like an ancient princess warrior who had come to take away all the trouble. I even managed to win a few rounds of a high stakes game.
At the end of the night, I said goodbye to my friends and flew back home. I was exhausted but there was something different about me. I had become a different person filled with power and optimism.
It was a great day and I can't wait to do it all again soon. Maybe tomorrow I'll take a drive to Dracula's castle and look for souvenirs. Who knows what adventures I'll find.
